How I work
My day-to-day is built around keeping construction information organized, accurate, and accessible to the people who need it. That means managing RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, and supplier schedules — making sure nothing gets lost between the design team, the contractor, and the field.
What I have learned from working on active construction projects is that most delays and conflicts trace back to a documentation problem — a missed revision, an unanswered RFI, a supplier delivery that was never properly tracked. I take that seriously. Good document control is not administrative busywork. It is how projects stay on track.
Background
I graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Bulacan State University in 2024 and passed the Philippine Civil Engineer board exam in April 2025. Since then I have been working as a Document Controller Engineer at Total Safe Development Construction, Inc., handling documentation for two active projects in Bulacan: a 3-storey dormitory building and a warehouse facility.
Before that, I interned at the DPWH Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office, where I assisted planning engineers with AutoCAD land plotting, documented site progress and survey work, and helped prepare construction bidding documents. That internship gave me an early look at how public infrastructure projects are administered at the district level.

Project Controls
Getting deeper into cost tracking, scheduling, and the tools — MS Project, Planswift — that connect documentation to project performance.
Construction Administration
Understanding contracts, submittals, and the coordination layer between owner, consultant, and contractor more thoroughly.
Site-to-Office Systems
Improving how information moves between the field and the office — reducing friction, improving traceability, avoiding the small gaps that become big problems.
